Step 1: Select a CS-mount camera of your choice
- Monochrome, back USB connector (PN: DR-50Y2M-C1-CS)
- Color, back USB connector (PN: DR-50Y2C-C1-CS)
- Monochrome, side USB connector (PN: DR-50Y2M-C3-CS)
- Color, side USB connector (PN: DR-50Y2C-C3-CS)
Step 2: Add the Evaluation Kit (PN: EVAL-KIT-DR-U3)
Step 3: Create any of these configurations
- C-mount full case camera
- C-mount partial case camera
- CS-mount full case camera
- CS-mount partial case camera
- S-mount full case camera
- S-mount partial case camera
- Board-level camera without mount
Evaluation Kit Components

| Optical C-mount 5 mm Spacer | Use a C-mount lens with the CS-mount front |
| Tripod adapter | Mount the camera to a tripod (1/4-20 thread). This requires full or partial camera case |
| USB cable | Connection to the PC |
| JST cable | GPIO cable for trigger input, strobe output, or residual power |
| Universal locking bracket | Stabilizes the USB connection on board level and partial case configurations |
| Thermal Pad | Replacement thermal pad Original pad may become compressed following multiple configuration changes. |
| Heatsink | A heatsink is required for partial case or board-level configurations. One-time use only; applied on DDR and FPGA chip. |
| Hex key | For disassembling the camera to reconfigure |
